Welcome to

Innerspring Counselling

A safe and calming space to heal from within

Meet Dan

Thank you for visiting Innerspring Counselling.

At InnerSpring Counselling, I provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for individuals and couples who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and the lasting impact of childhood complex trauma. My approach is rooted in the belief that much of what we carry in the present is shaped by our past experiences, and that real change begins when we can gently explore how those experiences live within us today.

The name Innerspring reflects what I aim to offer through therapy: an opportunity to look inward and discover the natural capacity for growth, healing, and renewal. Just as a spring replenishes and flows forward, counselling can help you reconnect with your inner strength, break free from old survival patterns, and begin to move forward with more ease and self-understanding.

I work integratively, drawing on somatic approaches that recognise how trauma is often held in the body, alongside relational and psychodynamic methods that explore the unconscious patterns shaping how you think, feel, and respond. This allows us to connect the dots between body and mind, past and present, so you can gradually feel less stuck and more in touch with who you truly are.

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or surface-level advice. It is about creating a safe environment where defences can soften, painful feelings can be understood, and new ways of being can emerge. My goal is to walk alongside you at your pace, helping you to find balance, restore connection with yourself, and open the possibility for growth and transformation.

At InnerSpring Counselling, healing is not just about surviving—it is about gently discovering how you can begin to thrive.

I have been practicing for since 2010 and I'm an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) having qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist at Roehampton University completing a B.s c Hons degree. I have also worked with several Mental Health projects and initiatives including Mand the Everyone Man project providing therapy for Anger Management and domestic abuse.
